Warranties
- We warrant the manufacturing quality and usability of all products we offer — including our HOME compostable plastic bags and packaging materials — for a minimum of 12 months from the date of purchase, provided they are stored and used correctly.
- You'll get the maximum life out of the bags if they're stored cool and dry, away from direct light, ideally below 24°C.
- It makes sense to use older batches of bags first.
- The gum-seal flap is designed to be reused — opened and closed — up to a dozen or so times. Beyond that, the seal's effectiveness may reduce, though this isn't considered a fault.
- We also warrant that the bags will perform as described on the product pages of this website.
- You're responsible for confirming our bags suit your intended use — if you're unsure, contact us to discuss it before placing your order.
Refunds
- Goods may be returned to us under warranty, or if we've delivered the wrong product.
- Before returning anything, contact us to discuss the matter and agree on next steps. Returns sent without contacting us first may be rejected.
- We reserve the right to either replace faulty items or provide a refund credit to your account.
- Generally, the shipping and associated costs of returning items are at the customer's expense.
Shipping & Import
- We do not provide free shipping on orders.
- Shipping options are offered during the online checkout process, with the associated cost added to your order total.
- You're welcome to nominate your own preferred shipper and shipping account for those costs to be charged directly to you.
- Additional costs and taxes may be levied by the import and clearance processes applicable to your country — payment of which is entirely your responsibility.
Privacy
- We collect only the information strictly necessary to fulfill your order and deliver it to your chosen address.
- We will not release, sell, or otherwise share your personal details with any third party, other than those required to process and ship your order, or statutory entities that require such details (e.g. customs or government agencies).
- You may ask us at any time for a copy of the personal details we hold on file, and you have the right to ask us to correct any mistakes.
